Advice to Rising Seniors
- Learn and memorize structures and names early on
-
Do the homework and look over notes every night
-
Pay attention in class, and participate. Answer questions, go up to the board, put yourself out there. It'll help you learn, I promise.
-
STUDY!!!!!!!
-
Review notes at least once a week and read the textbook before the test too. Looking over the information right after learning it helps a lot.
-
Pay attention and study for the quizzes and tests. Many questions on them are direct IB-style questions which have common patterns and tricks to them.
-
Keep all your junior year notes easily accessible
-
If they don’t take notes or do homework then their success is limited. They can still pass, but their grades are going to suffer because of it in the end.
-
Don’t give up, ask lots of questions when you don’t understand, try your hardest.
-
Take things seriously but try to have fun with the class
