    Open the links below and begin learning the vocabulary sections from each. You will have a tremendous headstart by doing this. I will not spend a lot of time on vocabulary in class. You will be expected to know most of it by the time we start each unit.

  • The Emergency Medical Technology I & II courses are designed to teach you how to handle medical, traumatic and psychiatric emergencies: from simple cuts to heart attacks and strokes. As part of the EMT classes, students will have clinical skills and scenario based assessments. During the classes you will learn the skills needed to handle many types of emergencies. Upon successful completion of these classes, you will be eligible to take the North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician Exam, for certification as an EMT.
