Welcome to 6th Grade! 

     I am so excited to get the 2022-2023 school year started at HRMS!  I am looking forward to working with students and families to make this a successful 6th-grade year!

      I am originally from the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast where I earned my teaching degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. This will be my twentieth year as a classroom teacher.  I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects in grades three through seven. I love teaching and watching my students learn and grow!

     My husband and I have been married for twenty-four years; we have three awesome children and three adorable grandchildren. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and traveling. I am a huge fan of Duke Basketball and Panthers Football! I enjoy all types of food and music and will jump at the chance to go to a concert or try a new restaurant!
