Mrs. Newbrough
Hi! My name is Mrs. Newbrough. This will be my 5th year as a Winecoff Leopard and my 18th year teaching. I taught first grade for one year and kindergarten for 16 years. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from West Liberty University, in West Liberty, WV in 2005. I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016. I am currently working on a graduate certificate in Instructional Technology from App State University.
My husband and I moved to North Carolina in 2005 from West Virginia. We just celebrated our 16th anniversary and we have 2 boys. Wyatt is a fourth grader at Winecoff in our Dual Language program and Elias is a very busy, fun loving 4 year old. In our free time we love to spend time in the mountains with my parents. I also love to spend my free time designing and making quilts!
