My name is Lisa Lumpkin.  I am thrilled to be a Pre-K teacher at Nichols Elementary.  I consider it a priviledge to help facilitate each child's learning and academic growth.  I will foster a safe and nurturing environment where each child can have the opportunity to experience success and gain confidence in his/her abilities.  When they leave my class, my hope is to instill in them the desire to become lifelong learners.  I live in Ocean Springs with my husband and our two teenagers, Brady and Delaney.  I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Bachelor Degree in Child and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Development. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends and taking trips to the beach.
