Registration requirements must be met and a registration packet must be completed before a student can be enrolled. Additional procedures are required when English acquisition, special education, or guardianship issues are involved. It is the responsibility of the students and parents to notify the school if there is a change of address or phone number. Every student is expected to have a current telephone number of an emergency contact on file for use when a parent cannot be contacted. It is extremely important that current information is on file in the office at all times. Students will not be released to anyone who is not on the emergency card. A picture ID must be presented in all cases where a child is picked up from school.
ID Cards
All students are required to have a current Wells Middle School identification card with them at all times. ID cards will be provided free of charge to students at the beginning of each school year. Lost, stolen or damaged ID cards can be replaced for a $5.00 processing fee.
