Presentational: writing(25%) and speaking(15%) assessments where students demonstrate their ability to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate resources and create original spoken and written products
Interpretive: reading (25%) and listening (25%) assessments where students demonstrate understanding of spoken and written resources
Engagement 10%: this grade focuses on two important areas of communication, the ability to listen with the intent to understand and the ability to support the flow of language in class.
