Welcome to my page! My name is Kathy Imhoff and I am the Algebra teacher at Brookside School. I love teaching Algebra and I also love teaching middle school. I find the students in middle school so interesting and full of life. The growth that I see throughout the year is simply amazing!
This year I have been asked to teach 6th grade, 7th grade and Algebra. I am enjoying getting to know the students at all different ages and grade levels.
I received my undergraduate degree from William Paterson University. I am certified to teach Mathematics and Social Studies from grades 7-12. In addition, I received a second degree in elementary education.
I was fortunate to earn a full scholarship to Pennsylvania State University. I completed a Masters in Special Education. This degree has helped me throughout my career, no matter what grade level or subject I am teaching. I have taught for 30 years and still get excited to meet my new students!
I have been married for 32 years and I have three awesome kids. I am passionate about my family, my job and my health. I love teaching spin classes, taking pilates or yoga classes, and walking. My husband and I really enjoy traveling and hiking whenever possible. Any time I get to spend with my children and my huge extended family is a real blessing.
