Hello, my name is Jenny James and I am very happy to have your child in my kindergarten classroom this year. I would like to take this time to introduce myself.

      I grew up in the great state of West Virginia. I graduated from The University of Charleston with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After that I went on to receive my Masters’ Degree from Marshall University in Special Education.

      I began teaching at the elementary level in 2002 in Charleston, WV. I came to the state of Florida in early 2009 and began teaching in the Charlotte County school system. I was named Charlotte County teacher of the year in 2017.

Classroom Mission Statement 

The mission of our class is that every child has a voice. We will be outstanding leaders with a “can do” attitude. We will believe in ourselves and each other. We will work together to be a good friend and a positive leader.

Personal Mission Statement 

My mission as a teacher is to motivate, inspire, encourage, and support students by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment to educate them socially, emotionally, and cognitively so they can continue to build a foundation for life-long learning.
