Parent-teacher conferences in the School District of Washington are scheduled for Thursday, October 26. There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 26, and Friday, October 27.
The procedures for the parent-teacher conferences are as follows:
Elementary schools: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at their respective schools from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parents must make an appointment with their child’s teacher. If you haven’t made an appointment, please contact your child’s school.
Washington Middle School: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the middle school from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The conferences will take place between 9-11 a.m. and 1-6 p.m. Phone and zoom meetings will be available from 6-7 p.m. Teams have sent out the signup links to parents. Parents should contact the middle school if they have not received a link to sign up.
Washington High School: Parent-teacher conferences will take place from 8 a.m. to 7 pm. Since there is a full day for conferences, WHS will break it up with some open house time in the morning and afternoon/evening, and some time that is by appointment only during the remainder of the day. The schedule will be as follows:
*8-10:30 a.m. - Open House Conferences – Teachers will be in their classrooms and available for conferences. No appointment is necessary.
*10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. - Conferences by appointment only. If parents are unable to attend during one of the open house times, they can email their student’s teacher to set up a time for a conference. Teachers may have other meetings scheduled during this time that they will have to coordinate around.
*3-7 p.m. - Open House Conferences – Teachers will be in their classrooms and available for conferences. No appointment is necessary.
Four Rivers Career Center: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the Four Rivers Career Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parents are encouraged to make appointments by contacting the teacher or the Career Center office.
Early Learning Center: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the Early Learning Center from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parents must make an appointment with their child’s teacher.
