The WINGS Educational Foundation has awarded 12 scholarships to Washington High School seniors in the amount of $1,000 apiece, for a total of $12,000.
WHS students receiving the WINGS Alumni Scholarship were Anna Dyson and Josie Newman.
WHS students receiving the WINGS Educator Scholarship were Audrey Bush, Elizabeth Derner, Megan Duncan, Emily Hahne, Marcella Lampe, Jenna Loepker, Sophia Olszowka, Kassidy Phillips, Willa Reust and Chase Schroeder
The WINGS Educational Foundation promotes educational excellence by providing teacher grants, student scholarships for continued education, state-of-the-art equipment and recognition of faculty and staff achievement.
The Alumni scholarship is funded through donations by individual WHS Alumni and the 50th Class Reunion group each year.
