The Washington High School Winter Guard Competed at the MCCGA (Mid Continent Color Guard Association) at Edwardsville High School on Saturday, February 25.
Washington took first-place honors with a score of 72.25 in the Scholastic AA Division.
Because of this score and placement, along with this being the last competition before groups are seeded, the Washington Winter Guard is now ranked No. 1 in the state for its division. The guard will be competing at the MCGAA Championships in Springfield on Saturday, April 1.
Erin Shaul is the director of the WHS Winter Guard.
