MSHSAA Assistant Executive Director Visits Washington High School Sports Officiating Class
Kenny Seifert, Assistant Executive Director of MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association), spoke to Kym Blankenship’s Sports Officiating Class at Washington High School on Wednesday, February 9.
Seifert spoke to the students about opportunities in officiating and discussed real situations they might face as an official. The hope for Seifert was to generate interest and recruit young officials for MSHSAA activities. There currently is a shortage of officials for MSHSAA events.
Washington High School is one of very few high schools in Missouri that offers this type of class. This is the third year the class has been offered to WHS students.
