Washington High School will hold its Curriculum Night on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Little Blue Jay Gymnasium.
The Curriculum Fair will be set up so that families may explore the high school’s programs and courses.
Students and parents can visit the different tables set up by each department to learn about courses offered at Washington High School.
Prior to Curriculum Night for current WHS students, the counselors and administrators will meet with incoming ninth-grade students.
At 5 p.m. in Room 2224 there will be a meeting for incoming ninth-grade students and parents who are not currently attending Washington Middle School.
At 5:30 p.m. in the CJB theater there will be a meeting for all incoming ninth-grade students and parents. The 5:30 p.m. meeting is for current students at Washington Middle School and students who currently do not attend Washington Middle School.
Families not currently attending Washington Middle School should attend both the 5 p.m. and the 5:30 p.m. meetings.
After the incoming parent/student meetings, families are encouraged to attend the curriculum fair in the Little Gym from 6-7:30 p.m. and visit with teachers about course offerings at Washington High School.
There will also be representatives from Four Rivers Career Center at Curriculum Night.
At 6:30 p.m., there will be a WHS update meeting in the CJB Theater for any parent or student currently in grades 9-11.
Students will be given registration materials and tour the curriculum booths during the school day on Feb. 13.
