Orientations for Washington Middle School seventh-grade students and Washington High School ninth-grade students have been scheduled.
Washington Middle School
Washington Middle School’s seventh-grade WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 11, at the middle school.
The schedule for seventh-grade orientation:
*7 White from 9-10:30 a.m.
*7 Blue and 7 Jay from 1-2:30 p.m.
Students will receive their schedules, visit classrooms, and receive chrome books.
Washington Middle School Open House:
Seventh Grade: Tuesday, August 16, from 5:30-7 p.m.
Eighth Grade – Wednesday, August 17, from 5:30-7 p.m.
Schedules will be up and running in Lumen during the first week of August so students can get them before they come to orientation and open house.
Washington High School
Washington High School Freshman Orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Students will meet in the Blue Jay Gymnasium for a welcome session before breaking into small groups for classroom activities and a tour of the building. They will also receive their schedules and can walk through the building to find where they will be going on the first day of school.
Washington High School Registration is scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday, August 9-11, at the Nix cafeteria and library.
The schedule for registration is as follows. Students in grades 9-12 can attend whatever day is most convenient for them:
*Tuesday, August 9: Noon to 6:30 p.m.
*Wednesday, August 10: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
*Thursday, August 11: Noon to 6:30 p.m.
Students will receive their chrome book during registration. They must have their online paperwork completed before attending registration.
The first day of the 2022-23 school year is Monday, August 22.
