Washington West Elementary had a Student Professional Development Day on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
There were many different classes that students could choose from to spend part of the afternoon learning about that field.
Students from different grades and classes had the opportunity to spend time with one another to share ideas and get to know each other while working on projects.
After sending time in one subject area, the students then moved on to a different subject area, and that was the theme throughout the afternoon.
Some of the many classes offered in the professional development included Crafts, Cooking, Painting, Reading, Math, Health/Fitness, Things That Go, Hand Sewing, Army/JROTC, Sign Language, Bells, Guitars, Yoga, How to Make Friends, Cookie Decorating, Babysitting, Gardening, STEM Challenge, Acting, Puzzles, Fishing and First Aid.
