The School District of Washington will not be in session on Friday, Sept. 4, and Monday, Sept. 7.
The schedule for students is as follows:
This week (Aug. 31-Sept. 4) will be an A Day (last name A-K in-person) on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, and a B Day (last name L-Z in-person) on Thursday, Sept. 3.
Next week, (Sept. 7-11) will be an A Day (last name A-K in-person) on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and a B Day (last name L-Z in-person) on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 10 and 11.
Wednesdays are E-Learning days for students.
Click here for the 2020-21 hybrid academic calendar, which specifies A Days and B Days.
The Board of Education is re-evaluating the schedule in the coming weeks, however for tentative planning purposes, the schedule has been devised through the first semester.
You will notice, beginning the week of Oct. 19, (only if the District needs to remain in the hybrid schedule), four-day weeks will be comprised of two A Days and two B Days. Three-day weeks would consist of an A Day, E-Learning Day, and a B Day. And a two-day week (for example at Thanksgiving) would include one A Day and one B Day.
