SDOW LogoWashington High School’s Mu Alpha Theta is hosting a math competition, “Math Madness,” for fifth- and sixth-grade students on Tuesday, April 12, from 3-6 p.m. at the C.J. Burger Theatre at Washington High School.

The event will allow students to compete against fellow peers of other elementary schools in teams of 2-4 students. There will be prizes awarded to the best decorated student table, the top three highest scoring teams, and a prize for an individual student who can recite the most decimal places of Pi.

The cost is $5 per student. All proceeds go to Relay for Life. This is not a drop-off event. There is no food allowed in the theater. There needs to be at least one parent present for each team.
