Washington High School Baseball Players Jack Lackman, Sam Paule Named KLPW, Washington Missourian Athletes of the Week
Washington High School baseball players Jack Lackman and Sam Paule have been named the KLPW Radio and Washington Missourian Athletes of the Week, respectively.
Lackman, a senior outfielder and pitcher for the Blue Jays, was three for eight at the plate during recent games with a double, two runs, three RBIs, one sacrifice and reached base two other times. He had two hits in the Blue Jays’ victory over Union. He has collected six RBIs on the season.
Paule, a sophomore infielder, had four hits in 10 at-bats with one walk, one sacrifice, one RBI, two stolen bases and three runs scored during recent games as Washington’s leadoff batter. For the season, Paule has a batting average of .379 with seven runs, six RBIs and seven stolen bases.
