A school-wide activity involving building relationships among students and teachers in a family environment took place at Labadie Elementary on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
All of the Labadie Elementary students and teachers, grades K-12, met in the gymnasium and were divided into small groups of approximately 15-20 with students in every grade represented in each group.
From there, each group, known as a family, went to a classroom and the students worked on projects and activities together for around one hour.
The purpose of the activity was for students and teachers in all grades to get to know each other better, build relationships, and become a stronger family.
