The 12th Annual
Community Festival of Trees takes place during Saturdays and Sundays in December until Christmas from 5-8 p.m.
Instead of taking place at St. Peter’s Church, this year’s Festival of Trees will be a drive-thru venue held at Mid-American Coaches, 4530 Highway 47, in Washington.
Many different groups and organizations will have Christmas trees decorated and displayed throughout the Mid-American Coaches garage. Visitors can drive through the garage to see the trees.
Admission is free, but visitors are asked to brings donations of canned food or money. Donations will help feed a community member. All donations collected will be distributed between three food pantries in Washington.
Representing the School District of Washington in the Festival of Trees are WINGS Educational Foundation, Washington High School, South Point Elementary and Clearview Elementary.
Come see the Festival of Trees in December and support local food pantries.
