Four Rivers Career Center Building Construction Students Recognized for SkillsUSA Competition
Students in the Building Construction program at Four Rivers Career Center were presented tools by two of the program’s advisory members for their participation in the SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference.
The tools were presented to recognize and honor the students’ success.
Gavin Matchell, Washington High School, placed first in Carpentry at the skills competition. He was presented a Milwaukee Tool Kit from Brian Hall, Maranda Hall and Mike Hall from John Hall Lumber.
Jeff Backhaus from Holt Electrical Supplies donated various electrical tools to Logan Temple, Warrenton High School, and Luke Staudinger, Sullivan High School. Temple placed third in Construction Wiring at the skills competition.
Gavin Matchell and Logan Temple will advance to the State SkillsUSA Conference April 6-9 at State Technical College of Missouri in Linn.

John Hall Lumber Recognizes Matchell
John Hall Lumber presented a Milwaukee Tool Kit to Building Construction student Gavin Matchell for his participation in the SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference.
