Students at Augusta Elementary School took part in a manners lunch on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Dressed nicely and with the atmosphere in the Augusta Elementary cafeteria featuring dimmed lighting with soft music playing in the background, the students practiced proper table etiquette while enjoying their turkey lunch with all of the fixings.
The Augusta Elementary students have been in the process of learning proper table etiquette over the last several days leading up to the manners lunch.
A group of Augusta Elementary students seated the students and served the lunch. Students were not allowed to begin eating until everyone at the table was served.
Augusta Elementary Principal Mary Robertson took a microphone around the tables during all of the lunch shifts and asked students and teachers what they were thankful for.
