Vestavia Hills Elementary East is a public elementary school, serving kindergarten through fifth grade in the Vestavia Hills City School District. Approximately 750 students attend VHEE. The school’s vision statement is, “Every Vestavia Hills Elementary East student will learn to his/her potential in a safe environment, while experiencing happiness through social growth at school.”Vestavia Hills Elementary East is accredited by Cognia. Breakfast is served from 7:15 -7:45 AM in the school lunchroom.
School begins at 7:45 AM. Students are tardy after 7:45 AM (unless carpool has not completed) and must be signed in by a parent/guardian or designee.School is dismissed at 2:35 PM in the afternoon.
