Third Graders Engage in STEM Experiments With Sand Creek Teacher

Mr. Brown, STEM teacher from Sand Creek Middle School, visited Mrs. LoPresti’s third grade classroom at Roessleville Elementary School to lead science experiments. The students worked in pairs to see firsthand how non-touching forces can work. Mr. Brown then led a group experiment to deepen the students’ understanding of this concept.

Roessleville Students Reading for Ronald McDonald House

January 14th kicked off the Roessleville Elementary School Read for Ronald McDonald House program. Students will collect pledges and will then be reading and fundraising. Every child that participates will be helping another family stay at the Albany Ronald McDonald House. This reading based community service project runs through February 13.

Kindergarten Kodable at Roessleville

Mrs. Jaskot’s Kindergarten students at Roessleville Elementary School are using Chromebooks to play Kodable.
