All students in our agriculture program have an SAE (Supervised Agriculture Experience) project. This can range from anything from work experience, ag mechanics projects, growing plants to raising livestock. Our students keep records in a record book and learn how to create income summaries as well as depreciate property. Many of our students choose to raise market animals to show at the Sonoma County Fair and theState Fair. The students will sell their projects at the livestock auction and all profits are kept by the students. Our FFA program has support from our local Sonoma Valley Bank as well as the grange credit union who helps students take our loans to fund their FFA projects.
