Description:
National Honors Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes high school students who have demonstrated scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS recognizes students’ accomplishments and guides them in continuing to flourish in the four areas mentioned above. Students eligible (see below) will be sent applications half way through their junior year.
Eligibility:
- Unweighted cumulative average of 90 or higher at the end of 2nd quarter junior year.
- 10 documented hours of community service (completed sophomore or junior year)
- Evidence of the characteristics of leadership and character
