Mr. Doyle has been a science teacher at Royalton-Hartland High School since the 1986-1987 school year. He graduated from SUNY College at Buffalo with a Bachelor's degree in biology/general science education for grades 7-12. Mr. Doyle was twice, the recipient of summer grants from The American Chemical Society, where he was afforded the opportunity to work in the immunology lab at University of Rochester School of Medicine/Strong Memorial Hospital. The research he did there on cryoglobulinemia was the basis of his Master's project which allowed him to complete his Master's degree in biology education. He was later awarded a grant from Howard Hughes Medical Institute and did summer work at U.B. to incorporate technology into science teaching.
Mr. Doyle has always enjoyed teaching at Roy-Hart because of the friendly community and nice students who have arisen from it.
Outside of school, Mr. Doyle is an avid guitarist, who enjoys writing songs and recording in his home studio.
He has fond memories of his former band, Into Wishin' Buffalo, which he posts songs of, on YouTube.
He also plays guitar every Sunday at SUNY at Buffalo's Newman Center on the Amherst campus.
Mr. Doyle resides in Niagara County with his wife, four children and two dogs.
