A college-bound culture builds the expectation of postsecondary education for all students—not just the best students. It inspires the best in every student, and it supports students in achieving their goals. As you can imagine, the key ingredient in creating a college-bound culture is dedicated educators. Kids who grow up with “when you go to college” rather than “if you go to college” are more likely to see themselves as college-bound. At Rio Del Norte we host College Thursday where we feature a different college and learn about that school as well as have guest speakers come in and talk about their college.
