Jane Charlier Emrick, teacher of French at Community and Open HS, has been selected for a week-long "French-for-All Summer Institute" this June. Recipients are chosen from applicants nationwide for the Institute. This year's recipients will have the opportunity to spend a week at the University of Texas at Austin and will share intensive learning modules in a full-immersion French class setting. Participants will dive into the topics of pedagogy; optimizing an ethical, controlled use of artificial intelligence; and Francophonie teaching methods. Congratulations, Madame Jane!
Our End-of-Year Picnic will be held Thursday, May 28th from 5-7 at Richmond Community High School. (This date is a change from the previous email.) This event is held rain or shine! This is one of our most beloved PTSA traditions, and we really hope to see you there! Click here for more info.

Yearbooks are on sale for $30 at this link. Please keep in mind that Senior Dues include the purchase of one yearbook.
Minimester will take place beginning Monday, April 20 and run until Friday, April 24.
All Juniors will take the SAT in school on Tuesday, April 14. Please be sure to arrive on time with your fully charged Chromebook.
The students at RCHS have been working hard collecting donations and talking to area businesses about their service projects. The funds raised through these events will go a long way in helping our students become the leaders they hope to be.
