The students at RCHS have been working hard collecting donations and talking to area businesses about their service projects. The funds raised through these events will go a long way in helping our students become the leaders they hope to be.
100% of the profits raised will go toward the Students in Action Program -
- Funds for collaborative student led community service projects - we encourage students to respond when they see a need in their community and use the resources of the nonprofit to support their solution.
- RCHS Community Garden - this amazing projects is worked on by almost 1/3 of the students annually. Students plan, prepare, plant, nurture, and harvest produce to take home and share with neighbors in need.
- Students work on collaborative projects with indigenous communities in the Americas. Last summer a group traveled on a grant to Guatemala to help with a reforestation project to prevent mudslides into a Maya Village. In just a couple weeks another group will head to the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona to assist on a tribe project preparing the grounds for a trauma recovery center, also grant funded.
