About me...

Hello!  My name is Mr. Burkhardt (Mr. B).  This year will be my 14th year in Red Hook : six years in the middle school and 8 years in fifth grade.  At Linden Avenue, I was actively involved in the mentoring club as well as the many anti-bullying efforts and programs.   Aside from teaching in Red Hook, I am also the varsity boys and girls assistant Track and Field coach.      I attended high school at Onteora Central Schools.  I received my bachelors degree in education/history from SUNY New Paltz and my masters degree in education from SUNY New Paltz.     I enjoy reading, photography, golf, running, biking, playing with my dogs, Brooke and Max, and working on my house!  I enjoy football and baseball.  I am an avid Notre Dame and Washington Redskins fan for football, and I enjoy the Yankees for baseball. I look forward to getting to know you!
