January Update in High School Math

     It has been an unusual January. We had just gotten into the rhythm of being back in school and then experienced an unusually long break due to the weather. When we return to classes we will have to review and refresh what we were studying in all our math classes. 

     Pre-calculus class will pick up with a whiteboard review over graphing rational functions which we had started prior to this break. We will then finish our unit with solving rational equations. Geometry classes will continue proving triangles congruent and applying relationships in triangles. Intermediate Algebra II students will proceed in their unit on exponential functions.

     All my high school math students can help themselves recall the concepts by using some of their off-time in working on their assigned third-quarter ixl categories.
