Notice of Cancellation of School Trustee Elections & Levy Elections
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 20-3-313, MCA, the following school trustee election(s)
will not be held for the following districts in Yellowstone County as the number of candidates nominated is less than
or equal to the number of positions to be elected.
SD#3 – 2 (Elem) Trustees
SD #21J – 1 High School Advisory Trustee
SD#4 – 3 (Elem) Trustees
SD#8 – 2 (Elem) Trustees
SD#23 – 2 (Elem) Trustees
SD #52 – 2 (Elem) Trustees
SD #17 – 1 (Elem) Trustee
SD #41 – 1 (Elem) Trustee for a 3-year term & 1 (Elem) Trustee for a 2-year term
SD #37 – 1 High School Trustee
SD # 58 – 1 (Elem) Trustee
IT IS HEREBY DECLARED THAT said school trustee election(s) will not be held and the candidates who filed for
the position(s) will be elected by acclamation.
If no one filed for a trustee position, a vacancy is created, and the vacancy must be filled by the remaining
trustees pursuant to 20-3-309, MCA.
In addition, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following levy elections have been cancelled by the relevant
school districts:
• Broadview High School District #21J – Levy
• Broadview School District #21J – Levy
• Huntley Project School District #24 – Levy
• Independent School District #52 – Levy
