COVID-19 Alert Billings

COVID-19

This post is in response to the concern raised by our Panther parents regarding COVID-19. Pioneer has already begun to prepare for the possibility of COVID-19 outbreak in Montana and in our community. We are in consultation with our local community health department and will continue to monitor the CDC and Montana Task Force information. At this time, there are no known cases in Montana. For more information please consult this updated link: https://dphhs.mt.gov/publichealth/cdepi/diseases/coronavirusmt

At this time, the CDC recommends everyday preventive actions be taken including avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; stay home when you are sick; cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue; disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces; and washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, cough, or sneeze.

Our staff will continue to encourage good hand hygiene and work to clean and sanitize surface areas daily to prevent the spread of potentially contagious illnesses.
