March 24, 2020
Dear Panther Families,
As of 2:45 pm, Governor Bullock mandated to extend school closure in Montana through Friday, April 10th, 2020 with the potential to last longer.
Pioneer teachers have been working hard this week putting together learning packets and building the district’s digital platform, and we are set to begin formal instruction on Monday, March 30th. Students should check into their Google Classroom at 8:30 AM daily, and submit their attendance. Attendance in Google Classroom will function just like attendance at school, make sure you “Turn In” after checking in or you could be marked absent.
Learning packets can be picked up at the school this Friday, March 27th from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. These packets will have two weeks worth of work that can be tied to lessons on Google Classroom. Should the closure be extended past April 10th, these packets can be turned in when you pick up the second learning packet scheduled to be distributed on Friday, April 10th.
Remember, we are all treading through uncharted territory! Please remember to give yourself, students and teachers grace as we navigate this new digital platform. Our teachers are working very hard to ensure your students continued success through these trying times.
We love you and we miss you. Stay safe.
