- CALL TO ORDER:
Trustee, Christina Olstad called the special meeting of the trustees of Pioneer Elementary School District #41 to order in Room 106 of the main building, Monday, September 30, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Trustee, Christina Olstad read the Montana Law about public meetings.

- OLD BUSINESS
None
III. NEW BUSINESS
- PERSONNEL – Christina reported that criminal charges have been brought against Mr. Gary Smith, Bus Driver. She has been in contact with the Montana School Board Association about this matter. They have recommended suspending Mr. Smith with pay until more information is available. Brandon Roth made a motion to suspend Gary Smith, Bus Driver with pay pending further investigation. Brad seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried. Christina went on to explain that the school needs to hire legal counsel to help deal with this matter. Brad made a motion to retain legal counsel through MTSBA pending the charges brought against Mr. Smith. Brandon seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried. The board signed an agreement to have MTSBA on retainer through this time.

A motion was made by Christina Olstad made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Brad Zink seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; motion carried. The meeting ended at 6:05 pm. The next scheduled regular meeting is Monday, October 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Room 105 of the main building.
