STAFF: Alisa Rau arrived at 4:00 pm, Jami Burns arrived at 4:20 pm, left at 6:15

VISITORS: None

GUESTS: McKayla Maciel arrive at 4:15, left at 4:30, Raelynn Melber arrived at 4:35, left at 4:55. Brittney Hoffman arrived at 5:15, left at 5:25, Tyler Foss arrived at 5:35, left at 5:55.

I. OPENING

1. CALL TO ORDER:

Trustee, Kari Jones called the meeting of the trustees of Pioneer Elementary School District #41 to order in Room 106 of the main building, Monday, April 29, 2021 at 4:00 pm. Trustee, Kari Jones welcomed all those attending. Trustee, Kari Jones read the Montana Law about public meetings.

2. MINUTE APPROVAL: Tabled to May 10, 2021 meeting.

Staff Resignations The board received resignation letters from Leah Wright, Megan Lee and Richelle Hertel. Colleen Unruh made a motion to accept the resignations of Leah Wright, Megan Lee and Richelle Hertel. Luke Rome seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried.

Interview for teaching positons Interviews for the three open teaching positions were conducted by the board. After the interviews Colleen Unruh made a motion to offer Tyler Foss and Raelynn Melber teaching positions for 2021-2022. Kari seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried. After more discussion, Colleen made a motion to offer McKayla Maciel the remaining teaching position for 2021-2022. Kari seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried. Colleen made a motion stating that if any of these candidates do not accept the offer of employment an offer be made to Brittney Hoffman. Kari seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; the motion carried.

A motion was made by Colleen Unruh to adjourn the meeting. Kari Jones seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous; motion carried. The meeting ended at 6:20 pm. The next scheduled regular meeting is Monday, May 10, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. in the Room 106 of the main building.
