Friday Program Decision

Dear Pioneer School Families,
In an effort to give our Panther families as much notice as possible, I am writing to you today. After several months of fielding community input through a stakeholder survey and public meetings, last night the Board voted not to move forward with a Friday program for the 2023-2024 school year. Several factors were considered in this decision including an overall lack of interest by our stakeholders in the program, as well as whether offering such a program would be fiscally responsible with such little interest. The District may consider this program in subsequent years, but not for the 23-24 school year.
