Dear Pioneer School Families,
As many of you know, the topic of a 4-day school week has been brought to the Board of Trustees for discussion. At the October meeting of the Board, the Board authorized sending a survey to our school stakeholders. The staff and parent surveys both saw about a 67% turnout rate making it the most participated in survey to date! Both the staff survey and parent survey had very positive results. As such, the Board of Trustees voted last night to move forward with scheduling a community meeting regarding the discussion of moving to a 4-day week school schedule.
We would like to invite our Panther parents to come to learn about the benefits and discuss the challenges that this new schedule may provide at the next scheduled meeting of the Board on January 9, 2023, at 4:30 pm.
