Mrs. Kristi Moncrief

Kristi Moncrief is approaching her 17th year teaching and 8th year at BWF.  Her love for teaching began in the dance studio which led her to Birmingham-Southern College. She is highly qualified in all subjects K-6 for both general education and special education, and she has a Masters in Teaching and Learning with a specialization in reading from Nova Southeastern University.  She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and is currently obtaining her Qualified Instructor certification to train teachers, coaches, and interventionists in Multisensory Structured Language Education. 

Mrs. Moncrief resides in Cahaba Heights with her husband, Bradley, and two sons, Doss and Van.  She enjoys jogging, canoeing with her family, cooking, and cheering her boys on at their sporting events. 

Mrs. Moncrief is passionate about her role as a Ranger and aims to support each student to experience their best year yet!
