The 2023 - 2024 school year will be Ms. Lindsey Haynes' second year at Mountain Brook Elementary School. This will be her 10th year teaching PE. Ms. Haynes received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Jacksonville State University. She also received her Master's Degree from Ohio University in Athletic Administration. Ms. Haynes is from Hoover, AL. She has a long-haired dachshund named Dansby - who is named after the (former) Atlanta Braves player, Dansby Swanson!  Ms. Haynes loves to be with her family, friends, and puppy. She loves live music, being outdoors, swimming, and drumming. Ms. Haynes is also a percussionist. She has been a part of many marching ensembles and has traveled all over the United States performing in NFL stadiums. Ms. Haynes taught the drumline for The Million Dollar Band at The University of Alabama. She is helping teach the MBHS Marching Band Drumline! Ms. Haynes is very passionate about combining her love for sport, activity, movement, and music all together to create a safe, fun, and exciting physical education program here at Mountain Brook Elementary School.
