Ms. Ramsey is originally from Trussville, AL. She attended The University of North Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She continued her studies at The University of Alabama, where she received a Master's degree in Elementary Education. This will be Ms. Ramsey's 13th year in teaching, and her second year at Mountain Brook Elementary. She loves teaching second grade at MBE!

Ms. Ramsey is passionate about engaging her students in authentic learning experiences that help students to be their very best. She also works to build a classroom community that allows each of her students to be leaders and learners in the classroom, while also supporting their classmates.

In her free time, you can find Ms. Ramsey playing with her sweet dachshund (Lizzie), enjoying family time at Lake Martin, reading, volunteering in the community, or cheering on the Crimson Tide! Ms. Ramsey is looking forward to a year full of learning and making memories alongside her sensational second grade learners.
