Mrs. Pike is so excited to begin her second year at MBE!! This is her 24th year of teaching. She taught for 22 years in another school district. She has taught both first grade and kindergarten. She will tell you hands down kindergarten is her favorite!!  Mrs. Pike loves teaching and building a positive foundation and instilling a love of learning in her students. She believes in creating an inviting classroom environment that promotes respect, honesty, safety, engagement, trust and risk-taking. 

Mrs. Pike is from Trussville. She is married to her husband, who is also a teacher, and they have 4 children. In her free time, you can find her spending time with friends and family, reading, and trying new recipes. She also loves spending time at the beach!

She is looking forward to meeting her new Lancers and spending the year learning and growing together!
