Sarah is excited about another great year at Mountain Brook Elementary School as a member of the Preschool Special Education Team! 

Sarah is an alumna of Birmingham-Southern College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Sarah was a recipient of the Transdisciplinary Teaming Grant and was also awarded the 2019 Outstanding Masters Student in Early Childhood Special Education. Sarah currently serves as Lead Teacher for the Mountain Brook Preschool Program.

Sarah believes in creating an engaging and loving classroom environment where preschool children can explore, learn, and grow! Sarah focuses on the whole-child and believes children learn best through play, engagement, and exploring their environments. Families play an integral role in this development and Sarah seeks to partner with families in the growth of their children. 

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Brett and dog, Zooey. She enjoys being outside, crafting something new, exploring new places, shopping for office supplies, and being with family.
