Tyler Pilz is the music teacher at Mountain Brook Elementary School. Tyler graduated from Auburn University in 2017 and holds degrees in both Music Education and Vocal Music Performance. In his music education program, Tyler draws inspiration from music and movement, dance, world music, and choral influences. He is in his sixth year of teaching at Mountain Brook Elementary.

Outside of school, he is an accomplished performer of both voice and piano and performs frequently around the state. He serves as a charter member and Director of Fundraising for the Alabama Voices, a statewide choir for music educators that he created alongside his collegiate peers. He also has a private studio of voice, piano, and ukulele in which he teaches students ranging from elementary to adult age. 

When he is not teaching or performing music of some sort, Tyler enjoys cooking, traveling with friends, exploring with his dog Chinook, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers!
