Lauren Merrill received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Auburn University and her Master of Arts Education degree (English as a Second Language) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to teaching sixth grade, Lauren taught fourth grade for thirteen years. This year, she will be entering her twenty-fifth year of teaching and her eighteenth year at Mountain Brook Elementary. Lauren loves spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog, Rosie.
