This school year marks the beginning of Suzanne's 32nd year of teaching! She began her career teaching 5th grade for two years at Woodland Forrest Elementary in Tuscaloosa, AL.  She has proudly taught at Mountain Brook Elementary for 29 years.  28 of those years have been in 5th grade!  She has worked with some of the most incredible educators in her years in the classroom. Suzanne's real blessing is that she has had the joy of being a part of so many kids' lives.  

 

Outside of school Suzanne enjoys time with her husband, Bill Andrews and their two kids, Alexandra and Ryder.  Alexandra is a 5th grade teacher in Homewood and Ryder works in the environmental field here in Birmingham. She has one adorable dog named Ivy!  The Andrews' family values spending time enjoying the outdoors by hiking, kayaking, and camping!
