Dr. Lauren Anson

Dr. Lauren Anson is a special education teacher at Crestline Elementary.  The 2022-2023 school year will be her seventh at Crestline and her tenth year teaching. She provides inclusion support, as well as interventions for students in second and third grades.  She is also one of the founders of the Cougar Cooks program at Crestline and loves getting to highlight her students' strengths through this program. Dr. Anson received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2008.  She then went on to receive a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, an Educational Specialist degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders, and a PhD in Early Childhood Education at UAB.
