Ms. Elizabeth Morton
Hello! My name is Ms. Elizabeth Morton, and I am proud to say that I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Horizon Elementary! I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL, and still continue to reside there. I graduated in 2009 from Alabama A&M University with a Master's in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for almost 15 years, however, this will be my 6th year with Madison City Schools. I specialize in the treatment of Articulation and Language Disorders and I love Social-Emotional Learning. I can honestly say that I love my profession!
I am proud to come from a long line of baseball players who have played for the Cleveland Indians, the Boston Red Sox, and The University of Alabama. When I am not working with your child, you can find me listening to podcasts, sipping on coffee, thrifting, or working on my latest knitting project. I consider myself an old soul and enjoy Silver Screen movies and musicals. I will also be getting married in December 2024!
I look forward to an exciting new year! Go Eagles!
